New Orleans and Turkey Day

I know, I know, I am way behind on posting on the blog. Here are some pictures from the rest of our New Orleans trip, and my parents stay with us during Thanksgiving.

We just walked around and explored are last day out there. We ended are trip by enjoying the poyboy festival. Yum!

Poy boy festival

These crepes were amazing!

yummy po boys!

Thanksgiving was SO great. The food was amazing, and the company was pretty amazing too! ;)

We didn't get to have rotisserie turkey like tradition, but this oven turkey was the next best thing. The girls at Our Best Bites sure know what they are doing. We loved this recipe. I posted it on the food blog if you are curious.

We had quite the spread. The best leftovers ever.

We are quite the cooking team.

We had to stop at Rudy's. My parents have been bugging us to take them here for a while. My preggo belly is totally showing in this picture. I am SO much bigger now though.

Saying goodbye :(

We had a little time to kill, so we stopped by Bass Pro Shop on the way to the airport.

The night before, we snuck into Town Square and showed them the setup for the Dickens of a Christmas event that was starting the day they flew out to the airport. It was super dark, but we had fun exploring.

I have the best mom and pop around! :) We love this candy shop at Town Square. They seriously have any piece of candy you or your mom and pop can remember having as a child.

Cruise Pictures

Day 1:

Sail Away Party and yummy dinner/dessert for our first night on the cruise.

Trying to show my mother in law how to work the camera with hand gestures. lol

We went to a few game shows too.

Day 2: Fun at Sea and Formal night

My dad loves to read on vacay. He found time to read while we were waiting for a show, dinner, etc.

Day 3: Fun at Sea

These pictures pretty much show how most afternoons looked.
We pretty much ate brunch everyday so we could sleep in, and then played lots of fun card games. Sometimes we attended the trivia events on the cruise. We often ate at the lunch buffet.

Someone got married on the cruise

I was like the only person who danced with the staff, with a big belly and all.

This guy came by almost every night to show me a new magic trick. Most involved shoving something close to my face.

The whole gang.

Why is that prego lady dancing?

Day 4: Jamaica -Nice Resort Stay

Can this pool just be in our backyard? Please?

Okay, I'd rather have this pool. Mmmkk

Our mom's couldn't figure out how to go down the slide without falling off.

Adam's reaction after they both fell off their tubes.

Unlimited lava flows. Can we just go back already?

Didn't take long for Steve to fall asleep. Nice relaxing day for sure!

Love this guy

Time to say goodbye :(

Heading back to the ship

Day 5: Grand Cayman City Tour

We got Steve his beloved Rum Cake :op

If I wasn't pregnant, we would have done this excursion. I was very limited. I couldn't do most excursions.

Just playing on the Seven Mile Beach

Day 6: Cozumel Ruins of Tulum

Bus 15

Do you see the face?

Enjoyed ourselves at the comedy club and karaoke lounge. Our vacation drink of choice = virgin lava flow
I think all of us fell asleep at one point.
Toms are great cruise shoes

I guess I didn't take any pictures during the rest of the days at sea. We had an amazing time with our parents. It was a fun last vacation before baby Paige gets here :) I can't believe we went on the cruise almost two months ago! Time flies.
