4 years

I am SO behind with posts lately, but had to share the fact that our 4 year anniversary was last month. Adam and I have experienced a lot of fun firsts this year. We decided to permanently stay in Texas, and bought our FIRST home. We love so many things about our home, and the area we live. Our city was ranked #2 by CNN as the best place to live in the U.S.

The most exciting news that everyone knows now is that we are expecting our FIRST baby in March. We are beyond excited. I have already bought a lot of clothes and I don't even know if I am having a boy or girl. lol. I can't wait to find out. I don't even know how people wait until delivery. I wish I could find out now. Since its our first, I don't have a preference as to the gender. Adam REALLY wants a little girl though. I think its the cutest thing. He is going to be such a good dad. I can't wait.

On the topic of pregnancy, they really shouldn't call it morning sickness. It is SO misleading. It should be called all day sickness. I have good days and bad days, but feel sick most of the day on my bad days. Nights are the worst for some reason. This is why I am so behind on blogging and life. It definitely could be worse, so I am glad its not too bad.

I do not have any pictures from our anniversary. We didn't do anything, because I was too sick. I told Adam not to waste a lot of money on a fancy dinner that I wouldn't be able to enjoy anyway. I can't wait until I have my appetite back. We did manage to pick out cards for each other, and spent the weekend relaxing and celebrating our love. Adam took good care of me :)

CA trip part 2

My other sister! Glad she came by to visit :)
Family time :) Just missing Adam.

Can never resist cupcakes. Its seriously a problem. Put one near me, and I will eat it without hesitation.

 Got my Rubio fix.

Had to get some Chik fil A to support them. I love their sauce so much. I have a whole stash in my pantry. Sometimes they can get stingy when you ask for a lot of sauce. I am always specific when I ask now. I usually ask for 4-6 sauces.

I was craving a Balboa Bar, so we came down just for that.

 Loved all the fresh flowers.
Watched the Olympics pretty much every night
I totally missed my dog the whole time. He is like a child.
Lover of cupcakes. However, I don't like cake unless its cheesecake. Cupcakes only please.

Brad came to visit.

My dad's fresh garden produces yummy BLT's.

Couldn't visit CA without getting some Cafe Rio.

 More beach time :)

Ice cream is always a must with the Towner boys. Since I married a Towner, our freezer is always stocked with it. I can't complain. As much as we eat, we should be fatties. Not necessarily the case with us.

 Another bonfire :)

Can't have a family dinner without some virgin pina coladas.

More of Judy's cheesecake. I think I ate 1/3 of it.

Well, long story short. I had a great vacation filled with loved ones and good food. Life is too short not to enjoy all the yummy food out there, and definitely too short not to spend it with the people you care about most.

p.s. it was really hard to smile due to my gross fever blister. Sorry if it grosses anyone out, but it was part of the trip.
